The grapes were picked late in the season, naturally shriveled increasing sugar levels and flavour, fermented in stainless steel retaining purity of fruit and where the ferment stopped leaving natural residual sugar. Sunshine in a glass….. the perfect way to finish a meal with oozy and blue cheeses.
Smells
perfumed florals abound with honeysuckle, manuka honey, lemon zest and pears giving way to apricots and hints of sultanas.
Tastes
the harmony and balance are striking where lemonade, red apples, lavender and rosemary flavours persist, leading to a crystalline acid vein giving a refreshing, clean finish. The sweetness level is perfect and the perfect way to end your night.
