Description
Neudorf owners Tim and Judy Finn’s Moutere Pinot Noir, single vineyard Home block 2020, is simply spellbinding. It’s silky smooth, elegant, powerful and with more finesse than a ballerina. But still with many years of evolution ahead. Their descriptions are fine, velvety, and stately, and who would disagree, we certainly aren’t!!!
Smells
Brooding aromas of fresh black cherry and Damson plum in concert with spicy oak, floral notes, nutmeg, and cinnamon spices.
Tastes
It’s immediately powerful on the palate with a tirade of dark fruits infused with spices, savoury notes, and a hint of cedary oak. It has plenty of ripe, fine tannin and bright acidity that do justice to its generous palate weight. Drinking at its best from 2024 and through to 2028+ but do enjoy in its youth with strongly flavoured game dishes.
