Description
Made by the talented team at Saltram Wines, a hugely respected winery that has been making wine in the Barossa since 1859. The wines are made by the cricket-mad winemaker Richard Mattner, who describes his perfect day as "100 runs on the field, a char-grilled steak on the BBQ and a glass of Pepperjack".
Smells
Big ripe juicy berries, a generous helping of dark earthy spices, and a touch of oak all seamlessly integrate with each other.
Tastes
Rich, bold layers of plum, blackberry and a persistent peppery character beautifully all balanced, with an incredibly soft velvety texture. Year after year, this wine consistently impresses.
