An extremely exotic style of Gewurztraminer from Tim Turvey at Clearview, it's supremely floral and full of candied ginger notes and white pepper, finishing with almost a dry finish, delicious on every level.
Smells
Exotic lychee, Turkish delight, white pepper and candied ginger.
Tastes
Lush and very hedonistic in an off-dry style, this will be a great food match with Chinese food, particularly Szechuan style. Gewurztraminer is all about that wonderful, firm, piquant finish and low acidity. The finish giving balance to the luscious forward fruit, as evident in this wine, perfectly achieved by Tim and his team. Drink now and over the next 1-2 years. The recommended serving temperature is 7-9degrees.
