This is truly Artisanal, small batch gin, just imagine standing on the coast, taking a big deep breath of fresh sea air…. welcome to Shearwater Gin! Hailing from Kaikōura, Owner and Distiller Justine was excited to see how local seaweed would work in a gin. To gain a balance she added floral botanicals of rosehip and blue borage found in the surrounding mountains, along with the three other main gin botanicals discovered this unique tasting oceanic gin. Unique and very pleasant Gin, best enjoyed with good quality dried seaweed (if you can find it) or a sprig of rosemary or thyme.
