Craggy Range, stalwarts of Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa are at the top of their game, and nothing cements this more than their latest released 2023 Rose, a very charming and delightful wine. The season was a challenging year especially due to several significant rain events, but top producers dedicated to quality no matter what, still shine and only release top wines, due to meticulous selection. Hence Craggy Range continue to impress, no matter the season.
Smells
Fragrant orange blossom, wild strawberry and fresh lavender all are prominent on the bouquet.
Tastes
The wine ranges from pale salmon to a rosy hue. The palate is refreshing and moreish, with the sweet, berried fruit sitting harmoniously with textural acidity. The finish is long and dry to ensure you constantly seek a second glass. Perfect drinking this summer and next, or as is the trend these days, all year round. The cleansing dry finish makes it the perfect partner to cheese, salmon or soups. The recommended serving temperature is 7-10 degrees.
