Description
Stolen Kiss, by Rockburn takes inspiration from the more fun side of New Zealand’s favourite red grape – Pinot Noir. Free run Pinot was left on the red skins for only a matter of hours imparting the beautiful pink blush hues to the wine, with fermentation being stopped just short of complete dryness, the result is a bright off-dry Rose best served ice-cold throughout the summer.
Smells
Strawberry candyfloss, ripe cherry and toffee apple with hints of crème brulee and freshly baked shortbread.
Tastes
Off-dry, yet refreshingly clean on the finish. Sweet notes of strawberry and cream are off-set by subtle acidity, best enjoyed ice cold – or experiment with wine-based cocktails or freeze for an icy wino-pop. Your go-to veranda wine over the summer, by itself or with a cheese platter. Bring on the summer and may it last forever.
