Description
As an early adopter of alternative white varieties, Coopers Creek now have the benefit of vine age, which can be seen in this 2015 'Little Rascal' Arneis. Amazingly European on the nose, the varietal character of this Northern Italian white grape is immediately apparent, the wine full-bodied and dry with the beginning of some bottle development happening now adding further complexity.
Smells
Notes of grapefruit pith, pineapple, honeycomb, lychee, white peach and toasted nuts.
Tastes
Dry, pithy and quite mineral, with lots of fresh pineapple juice coursing through the palate, this stylish wine will be a great match for seafood.
