Description
Established in 1988, Grove Mill is one of Marlborough’s most respected wineries with a reputation for producing high quality, internationally revered wines using sustainable winemaking practices. This 2023 Pinot Gris was harvested from vines primarily in the lower Wairau, then gently pressed and fermented. 5% of the blend was fermented in older French barrels to enrich the palate and enhance textural feel and weight of flavour… the freshness on the finish makes it very appealing.
Smells
A vibrant bouquet of ripe pear, red apple and white flowers with hints of baking spice.
Tastes
Great concentration, Nashi pear and red apple dominate with floral subtleties. Appealing fruit sweetness works in harmony with lively acidity, while the texture heightens the luscious finish. Enjoy now with chicken or grilled vegetable dishes.
