Select Customers Only...
5-Star Reserve Marlborough Savvy Urgently CLEARING at $12.99

The temporary closure of Marlborough’s #1 winery restaurant was behind this earlier exciting Reserve Savvy clearance at a spectacular $14.99 bottle!

Now we’re dropping the price even further for select Sauvignon Blanc customers only on a first come basis... to a staggering $12.99 bottle!

We’re desperately short of space in our warehouse with several international containers arriving over the next 2 weeks... and two 1,000 & 2,000 case NZ Super Deals arriving later in the month.

At Fine Wine Delivery, we’ve always championed Wairau River wines for their quality at modest, accessible prices. They are our number one go to for so many customers. And their black label (reserve wines) is genuinely next level, evident in this reserve Sauvignon Blanc. A richer, fuller bodied style compared to most Marlborough Savvy with superior texture, palate weight and length. A must try.

Our Tasing Panel 94/100 Review…

Lifted aromas of passionfruit pulp and even as far a passionfruit cheesecake, a heady perfume that is simply irresistible, followed by ripe gooseberries and subtle toasty oak. The palate is focused with an endearing roundness in the middle due to subtle barrel fermentation and maturation. The creamy texture and additional richness emanate from lees ageing. Less overt on the nose but incredibly rewarding on the palate where it counts! A great drink, think a dry white wine that’s elegantly barrel fermented. Drinking well now and serve with fresh seafood.

Reserve in every sense… similar, but more subtle than the famous Cloudy Bay... and staggeringly priced relative to quality at our original Clearance price of $14.99. We’re desperately short of warehouse space, so are CLEARING the last 90 dozen at a windfall $12.99 bottle!

Totally unmissable for Savvy lovers. Enjoy JEFF

2022 Wairau River Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

A richer, fuller bodied style compared to most Marlborough Savvy, subtle oak adding texture & richness to the delicious fruit. Reserve quality from a generational 42-year-old family producer.

At Fine Wine Delivery, we’ve always championed Wairau River wines for their quality at modest and accessible prices. They are our number one go to for so many customers. And their black label (reserve wines) is genuinely next level, evident in this reserve Sauvignon Blanc. A lightly oaked style, of a quality level, but more subtle than the famous Cloudy Bay Te Koko and more accessibly priced. A richer, fuller bodied style compared to most Marlborough Savvy with superior texture, palate weight and length. A must try.
