Description

From Champagne masters who revel in Pinot Noir B13 (Bollinger 2013), a new Blanc de Noirs from the challenging 2013 vintage, but of all the Champagne House to conquer a difficult season, of course Bollinger would. It’s 92% Grand Cru vineyards from Montagne de Reims and been aged on the lees for seven years, resulting in a wine that’s rich, complex yet aromatic and perfumed at the same time. It comes packaged in a 100% recyclable case, made of mostly recycle materials, to reflect that Bollinger’s commitment to the environment goes beyond just the vineyard. This is a must try for all Bolly fans…

Smells

slightly restrained but with air reveals brioche, ripe pears, dried fruits, smoky nuts, apple tart, a touch of sea salt and even a trace of nutty rancio.

Tastes

the nose suggests little of a wine made solely from Pinot Noir, the palate however is true form, complex, rich, round, and intense, profound almost. Having said that, its not heavy, rather capturing the balance of richness and finesse, again characteristic of this most esteemed House. This will age but why wait, there is a lot to celebrate.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
