It’s named after the original owner Louis Balincourt… descendant of Louis Testu who was bestowed with the Title of Lord Balincourt by King Louis X111 in 1625. Their Champagnes are aged in historic chalk cellars for 2-years… then disgorged and rested before release to market. Their style objective is to create a balance between the lees aging complexity while maintaining elegance and freshness.
