Château Peyredoulle began in the 16th century, belonging to a famous Italian philosopher and humanist Pic de la Mirandole and his family. Located in the classified appellation of Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Château Peyredoulle is situated on a spectaular hilltop with clay and limestone soils, giving it its name of "Hard rock" or "Peyredoulle" in local dialect. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Alluring aromas of cinnamon on thickly buttered toast, blackberries, blackcurrants, red liquorice with notes of cedar and fennel.

A deep, powerful colour with a bright red hue, suggestive of ripeness rather than over-ripeness. Seductive fruit dances across the tongue showing dark and red fruit flavour, exotic spice, vanilla and a toasty finish. A full bodied style yet retaining elegance and poise, superb drinking now through 2028. Made to be served with a prime cut of beef.
