Description
Rocca delle Macie was established when Famous Italian filmmaker Italo Zingarelli purchased the vineyards in 1973 with a passion to make great Chianti. If you wonder why Sangiovese is and always will be the King of Italian red grapes, this Rubizzo from Rocca Delle Macie provides a perfect example. Bottled in the spring following harvest it’s generously flavoured and characterful. Unmistakably Italian and Tuscan with its plush, juicy, soft red fruits with Cherry and plum abounding. Engagingly savoury in the back palate its juicy finish crying out to be enjoyed with tasty pizza or your homemade pasta sauce with lots of oregano. The perfect Friday night special.
