Description
Now the 7th Rosé produced by the Donaldson family at Pegasus Bay (the first vintage being way back in 2004!), they have realised the growing demand for great Rosé and jumped on the bandwagon, much to our pleasure. A unique blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this Rosé is full of wild strawberries, red currants, and with a delightful creaminess. Superb drinking that will be perfect for the summer picnic lunches!
Smells
A very moreish nose of wild strawberries, red currants, violets and a hint of grapefruit, gunflint and earthiness giving interest and intrigue.
Tastes
Vibrant and refreshing, pleasing red berry fruit dominate. A creamy edge to a long minerally finish. A nice little spritz (natural CO2 in solution) adds zing and zest. This carbon dioxide increases the acid slightly giving freshness and longevity in the bottle. Drink now at any picnic in the sun with friends.
