A huge slowing of NZ’s traditional wine export markets is resulting in temporary domestic surpluses... even affecting our most prestige wine producers like Neudorf. Rest assured this is a very temporary opportunity to procure this delicious 2018 vintage of Neudorf Moutere Double 5 Star Alsace like Pinot Gris at the handsomely discounted price of $24.90... grab your share now as it is unlikely, you’ll see this price again!

95/100 Bob Campbell... 94/100 Cameron Douglas... 94/100 FWD... Neudorf Moutere is one of NZ’s smallest production prestige Pinot Gris crafted with hand-harvested fruit from low cropping hillside vines in the Upper Moutere. Made in a dry style with minimal fining and filtration, opulent fruit compliments savoury complexity as a result of barrel/lees ageing giving the wine its textural prowess and layered depth. Lithe acid threads the weighty amalgam of fruit and complex winemaking flavours. Baked apple and peach pie emerge in the composed, deep, dry finish. Pinot Gris to be slowly sipped and contemplated with food; now and through 2020/2021.

Earlier this year 2017 Moutere Pinot Gris was one of just 4 NZ Pinot Gris selected in Fine Wines of New Zealand by six Master of Wine... this 2018 continues the varietal excellence and quality of this great wine! Make sure you take advantage of this RARE discounted price of $24.90... it is a generous, complex and dry Pinot Gris that will keep and evolve for several years... assuming you can wait any time at all as its soooo delicious now! ENJOY! JEFF
