Description
The Hugel family have been making wine in Riquewihr, Alsace, since 1639, and these days are one of the most famous winemaking families in the world. Their Classic range is the core of the family business, and this Riesling is made in a dry style with a wonderful slatey grip and mouth-watering fruit acidity.
Smells
Lemon blossom, honeysuckle, and white peach, with a citrus lift.
Tastes
Dry, juicy, and full of textural interest and length, this is classically Alsace and classically Riesling. Enjoy young or cellar for as long as you please in the right conditions. Perfect with cheese and cured meats.
