Description
The most popular Riesling in New Zealand, The Doctors is made in a medium-sweet Kabinett style with a vibrant line of acidity. Filled with flavours of citrus fruit and granny smith apples with a purity of fruit combined with its superb balance, it will leave you wanting another sip. Previous vintages have all won Gold Medals, and by tasting this latest vintage and if history is anything to go by, it will follow strongly in the footsteps of its siblings.
Smells
Pithy lime and citrus with jasmine and freshly cut apples.
Tastes
Luscious and crisp with lots of zippy, zesty fruit, held together and energised by a vibrant acid line. A class act for a very reasonable price, at 9% ABV, it's easy on the head too. Perfect on its own or with oozy, creamy cheeses.
