Based in the heart of Central Otago planted on New Zealand’s largest deposit of Quartz Reef. They were the original pioneers of the now famous Bendigo sub region, and they specialize in crafting exceptional Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris & Methode Traditionelle Wines. Austrian born Winemaker & General Manager Rudi Bauer is the face of Quartz Reef. He is also the master of sparkling wine, with 15ha of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay devoted to making seriously Champagne-like sparkling wine.
