Description
Named after the historic property first established by Scottish migrants back in 1892, the St Andrews name died when the property was sold in 1934. In 1995, the Taylor family bought the land back, producing a range of flagship wines since 1999. The Taylors St Andrews Cabernet is classic Clare, made with only quality in mind and well suited to aging for the long term, though short-term consumption is very enjoyable too we can assure you!
Smells
Deep dark and brooding with hints of cassis, mint, blackberry, dried herbs, dark chocolate and cedar.
Tastes
Intensely concentrated and very pure with rich, ripe tannins and length to burn. A sensational wine that will continue to improve and delight for 15 to 20 years. Enjoy with your favourite red meats and good company between now and 2036.
