Description

Bumblebees are a dying breed, it’s a sad reality of the impact we are having on this planet. And considering bumblebees help pollinate over 1/3 of the food grown on earth, it is a very scary thought, especially as our population is about to hit 8 billion…Therefore anything we can do to buy and support organic producers the better. Never minding this is a stellar South Australian Merlot that ticks all the boxes, smooth, plush, fruity and structure, oh and Organic and Vegan Friendly and at Sub $13, this truly rocks….

Smells

a deep, dark, brooding nose of black fruits, plums, blackcurrants, mocha, coffee, and spice.

Tastes

this is truly a very tasty wine and considering its moderate price tag, a case is of the order. Plush, juicy fruit with dark berries, dark chocolate, underbrush, and cedar flavours charging across the palate, reined in by chewy, robust tannins that coat the insides of your cheeks in a delicious manner. Great length, power, and class. If this is the new Organic, affordable Aussie reds, then wow! Perfect with stews, casseroles and roast venison.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
