The wine….

Such a perfect entry level Bordeaux experience in the Right bank Bordeaux style blend dominated by plush Merlot fruit with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc providing broader fruit complexity, rounded tannin, lifted aromatics and juicy fresh acidity. Engaging aromas of chocolate coated black cherries with cinnamon quills, ripe black plums and cedary oak. Deliciously round and generous fruit greet your tastes buds with red currants, dark berry coulis, dark chocolate, mocha and coffee grinds all in the enticing mix of flavours. Soft, smooth tannins and juicy acid compliment the ripeness and generosity. Pour a glass and slowly sip away... then move onto dinner and it will pair well with meats, BBQ’d fare, pizza, roast vegetables and more. Enjoy through 2022.

Pretty plain to see its attraction to show judges picking up two strong Gold Medals, a product of a great vintage and very good winemaking. Covid delayed our annual Fine Wine Delivery Bordeaux Wine Sale this year, the benefits of which can be enjoyed in this cracking Merlot Cabernets blend for a very small price of $15.90! Enjoy, Jeff

Pretty plain to see its attraction to show judges picking up two strong Gold Medals. The 2016 vintage has delivered ripe, fleshy fruit with good structure... this is a fruit forward style that you can just drink by itself... but with good complexity and depth it will pair well with lots of meat inspired dishes or roasted vegetable creations.

2015 vintage: Some sediment in bottle. Dark ruby with rusty tinge, medium legs with ripe cherry, blackberry and herbal aroma. Acidic bite on first sip. settles down to black fruit taste (plum, blackberry and black currant) with fine cedar and oak tannins. Decanting and filtering helps. Pairing with cheese compliments this wine.
