Description
Château Troupian is part of the Lestage Simon estate, located in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, in Haut-Médoc, a wine region with a serious reputation for red wine. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and where traditonal fermentations methods are used in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
Smells
a wonderful aromatic richness, with blackcurrant leaf, tobocco leaf, vanilla and spice.
Tastes
the wine has a very pretty garnet red colour. The palate is soft, balanced with a juicy core of fruit, gravelly like tannins and with wild berry, cassis, cigar box and cedar flavours. Very approachable on every level. Drinking well now through 2026.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
