Easier for us non-Frenchies to understand what is in the bottle. Smells
Perfumed fruit, strawberries, earthy notes with hints of roasted peppers, rise from the glass, there is an almost New World wine aroma to this wine, very fruity but with an added savouriness, consistent with the Old World, offering the best of both worlds.
Tastes
Plush upfront fruit with strawberries, cherries, savoury, and meaty flavours, encased in firm, chewy tannins balancing the generous fruit. Perfect drinking now with BBQ pork ribs, a tasty combo.
