Smells

a burnt orange colour but keep going. The nose has aromas of a brown butter sauce, orange rind, cold tea with hints of sandalwood and orange blossom.

Tastes

Those same aromas are mirrored as flavours on the palate but balanced with a complex, structured framework, a generous rounded mid-palate and a long, firm finish. Slightly Sherry like, and therefore serve with olives, roasted almonds and blue cheese. Drinking perfectly now, no ageing required.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.

Interesting, fresh and funky, great fun

A really interesting wine, in a good way. Yes, there is some sediment and it is an interesting colour but we found it very refreshing and quite enjoyable. I'm ordering more

Needed a strainer to get all the lumps out, in the end used it for cooking. Best spend your money on something else as this is awful.

The worst bottle of wine we have ever purchased from fine wine. Sadly they must have known how bad it was by the colour and sediment in the bottle but still sent it . Buy a bit of wine from FWD but this is not the type of service we are used to.
