Description
There are some wines that just make you go "mmmmm"... this 2021 Greywacke Pinot Gris is charming us with its unctuous, spicy 'Alsatian' style, full-on texture and fruit concentration. A wine that can be enjoyed in its youth or cellared for 5 to 10 years from vintage, this has all the stuffing and guts to impress you long after 2027.
Smells
Subtle brioche and caramel notes, with spicy apple strudel, pears, and honeysuckle.
Tastes
Very luscious and decadent in the mouth, with a creamy, spicy mid-palate and serious intensity and drive through the finish. Everything is in balance; it will be stunning drinking between now and 2026+ and the perfect accompaniment to roast chicken with salad and/or roasted vegetables, a heavenly combo. The recommended serving temperature is 7-10 degrees.
