On the palate a generous mix of additional stone fruit, orange and ginger spice is enhanced by a sliver of creaminess. A beautifully textured wine.
Smells
ripe aromatics of brown pears, red apples, even hints of toffee apple, and apple crumble dusted with cinnamon
Tastes
a rich, creamy, slightly off-dry style with all the aromatic descriptives mirrored on the palate. The oily texture is smooth and harmonious with moderately soft acid, inherent to the variety, but all balanced by the warming, long finish. Superb, easy drinking that will appease all. If there is one wine for all, this is it…..Drinking well now through 2026 and will match with cheese and your favourite entrée dishes.
