Dog Point exhibits superb concentration and length apropos low cropping and hand harvesting of their organically managed old vines… why drinkers love it so much. An amalgam of fruit from eight different sites and partial indigenous ferments creates layers of passion, lime and citrus fruit within a beautifully textured, balanced, mineral tinged and generous palate.
Smells
Complex and alluring aromas of passion, lime, citrus, dried herbs and sea salt.
Tastes
Fleshed with pure fruit, the mid palate deeply concentrated. The luscious flavours are bound by a filmy texture and subtly layered with herb, lime, citrus before finishing with intent and mineral freshness. Perfect with oysters and lightly pan seared white fleshed fish.
