Description
Cape Crest is an iconic wine, made in a barrel-fermented style that in the superb 2021 vintage sees a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Semillon and 4% Sauvignon Gris. The ripe, concentrated tropical Hawkes Bay fruit absorbs the French oak flavours beautifully, creating a wine of finesse, elegance, and superb concentration.

Compelling aromas of grapefruit, currants, eastern spices, gooseberry, and fennel.
Tastes
Amazing texture and richness, with gentle cardamom suggestions mingling with succulent tropical fruit. Beautifully spicy and seriously long, this 2021 Cape Crest is just a baby, but already showing its quality, enjoy through to 10+ years.
