Harvesting in the evening and fermenting at a cool temperature are key to preserving its varietal prowess and freshness.
Smells
Captivating aromas of ripe grapefruit, layered with gooseberries and an exuberant passionfruit flower perfume buoyed by fresh lemon and a dash of subtle smoke and white lilies.
Tastes
A punchy, crisp, fresh and fruity style layered with passionfruit, lemongrass, and sweet citrus... building to a vibrant, refreshing finish. The minerality, zippy texture and floral prettiness all combine to make this an outstanding wine. Grab a glass, sit in your favourite chair on the veranda, take a sip... and another... then make sure you don’t sip too quickly which this Savvy will do to you. Drinking well now through 2026. Serve with fresh Marlborough seafood, ethically caught, of course. The recommended serving temperature is 7-9 degrees.
