Description

When a wine scores 96 points in Decanter World Wines and Steven Spurrier describes the wine as ‘A very classy Prosecco’, you know its time to run to your local, in this case Fine Wine Delivery Company, of course, and secure yourself a few bottles and in reality, a case. Steven describes this Prosecco as possessing a ‘very intense, deep nose with notes of pear, peach, elderflower, and almond. This flows onto a mineral-drenched palate with touches of eucalyptus. Great length and depth of flavour. We concur fully.

Smells

A perfumed bouquet of lime sherbet, tree ripened pears, sweet lemonades, and elderflowers.

Tastes

The balance, precision, and length are impeccable. In fact, this is one of the more interesting, drier Prosecco’s tasted here at Fine Wine. And as Steven noted, the mineral-drenched palate is striking and makes you sit up and take note, as this is a serious wine, certainly a cut above the rest. Perfect drinking now with cheese or your favourite canapes.
