Description

Owned by Francois Xavier Borie, the co-owner of Chateau Grand-Puy Lacoste, the Domaine Saint Guirons enjoys the same elevated winemaking as Puy Lacoste, and even many of the same grapes. The result is a wine that punches way above its price, a rare example of the Pauillac appellation that doesn't have a three-figure price tag.

Smells

A classy and ethereal nose showing the gorgeous florals and cassis perfumes we love in Pauillac.

Tastes

Really fine and lengthy on the palate, showing a perfume and poise so rarely seen in wines of this price. We love it now, but it will be even better in a year or two - grab a few bottles and stick it away.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
