Good nose and nice way to have by its own. Develops complexity and gets better with time

26th May 2022 | Eric gomez font

A lovely wine. The nose has some eucalyptus, violets, berries, plums, dark cherries, with a hint of cinnamon, tobacco, and cedarwood. The taste is silky smooth but has good tannins. There is some gentle oak, tar, licorice, more berries and cherries. A hint of leather, and wooden pencils. A lovely, complex but very approachable wine.

My spirits soared at my first glimpse of the ‘?’ on the top of the foil, a ?????? Classic!!! I had hit the jackpot. ?????? Signature for under $30 I knew I was in for dark berry fruits, trademark tannin finish. Magnificent. I cannot stop telling my friends about it. Thank you

23rd May 2022 | Anne Macmillan

Opens up into a decadent, elegant beauty. Bold yet smooth, an amazing wine from Eden Valley. Will be sure to buy a few more of these

23rd May 2022 | Mitul

Deep but not opaque red. Leafy mint and coriander; aniseed, leather, scented cassis and raspberry, later some plum. Great focus and precision. Oodles of fruit depth but also showing tremendous delicacy, purity, ease, and gentleness; no sense of extraction or of having been forced: the cream of the crop. Oak almost entirely soaked up by the fruit. A long, even finish, maintaining width; no taper or hollowness; seamless. Extremely drinkable but also huge potential. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Just opened the first bottle today, had one sip, then immediately ordered 12 more bottles!

21st May 2022 | Chap Lo

Bold with spice - a beautiful smooth drop.

21st May 2022 | Jasmin Crilly

Beautiful fruity and a little spicy cab shiraz. Very tempted to grab a few more for the cellar

21st May 2022 | James Mckeage

This was a great deal on a high quality, aged Aussie red. Great concentration and complexity. I'll be back for more.

21st May 2022 | Alex B

A 'best buy' here - smooth, balanced and with a classic 'shiraz' finish. This is a 97 score wine!

21st May 2022 | Dean Dalzell

A brilliant wine worth the effort of rummaging through the drawers to find the corkscrew which doesn't see a lot of use these days. It improved the cold windy night no end.

21st May 2022 | Terry Pullen

Don't usually spend this much, so approached it out of curiosity. Enjoyed it with a friend, who was blown away. Very easy drinking, age has mellowed it nicely. I bought six more.

21st May 2022 | Lloyd Chapman

A lovely, classic Australian blend. Fruity, but also structured and earthy thanks to the Cabernet Sauvignon. A great winter dinner wine. Bargain!

21st May 2022 | Christopher Wheadon

Does what it says on the tin. This is a spectacular drop, not as in your face as a pure shiraz, but complex, interesting and incredible value. Am tempted to pick up another case, the value is that good.

21st May 2022 | P M

Excellent all around depth and flavour, particularly in regard to its age which is only likely to get better in coming years. Matched with lamb cutlets this wine was spectacular
