Produced from the Te Awanga Estate vineyard; Elephant Hill's reputation continues to thrive with this lavish Pinot Gris. Low cropped fully ripened fruit, harvested early before autumn set in. Gently pressed fruit and fermented in stainless-steel tanks, Lees stirred every couple of weeks for 3 months, enhancing the creamy texture.
Smells
A delicate bouquet of honeyed pear, rose-petal florals, and hazelnuts with subtle spicy aromas persisting.
Tastes
Layered with ripe peach, pineapple, nectarine, and fennel, all seamlessly interwoven with a long, dry, satisfying finish. The perfect complement with seafood or cheese and drinking well now through 2025.
