Description
Fruit was sourced from three Vineyards in Hawke's Bay; each vineyard is meticulously managed and low cropping. Each parcel of fruit was picked in the cool temperatures of early morning, pressed off and fermented in a mixture of tank and seasoned oak barrels. This wine is wonderfully aromatic in its youth but can also be aged for up to 4 years from vintage date.
Smells
White blossom, subtle honeysuckle, white peach, and pear.
Tastes
A very full and rich Pinot Gris, with the seasoned oak helping to provide good texture. Ripe stone fruit and sweet citrus are balanced by soft spice providing good length. The ideal match for soft cheese or summer salads.
