Description

Second release from this Top 20 NZ winery, the Greystone Nor'Wester Pinot continues to overdeliver on quality verus price. It is thoroughly enjoyable now, but has the depth and complexity to cellar comfortably for up to 5 years from vintage. The critics have placed it in the excellent category with multiple 93/100 ratings, which is exactly where FWD Co. see it.

Smells

Bright red and dark fruits, with enticing aromas of wild flowers and savoury spice.

Tastes

Medium to full bodied with luscious fruits wrapped in gently clinging tannins, spice and savoury complexities kick in mid palate and carry through to the juicy, lengthy finish. A perfect sweet and savoury contrast accented by French oak, and silky texture and fine tannin. Enjoy with white and red meats, now through 2024.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
