Founded in 1883, Trapiche is one of the oldest wine brands in Argentina. Situated in Mendoza at the foothills of the Andes, their vineyards are bio-dynamically managed. The Medalla wines were created to celebrate Trapiche’s 100-year anniversary, and they have certainly crafted wines worthy of marking the occasion. Cabernet Sauvignon from over 45-year-old vineyards in Cruz de Piedra, Maipú Mendoza. Made using traditional winemaking methods, natural yeast and malolactic fermentation and aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels before being bottled and aged for 6 months in bottle prior to release.
