While GSM blends as they're known are many and varied in South Australia, very few are made using the traditional method of co-fermentation via a field blend. All the grapes come off the one vineyard in Gomersal, the blend being 80% Grenache, 15% Shiraz and 5% Mataro. Co-fermenting results in the perfect marriage of each variety, both aromatically and on the palate.

The nose shows perfectly ripe black Doris plums, cassis, and hints of dried woody herbs.

the palate has lovely fine tannins and a soft, red, raspberry, and plum fruit spectrum with a red, liquorice, sweetness on the palate, the garrigue characters of the Southern Rhone coming through on the long, soft finish. A very charming and complete wine, it will be good for the mid-term in the cellar too through 2026 and made for your favourite BBQed meats.
