Description

We all love a bargain, and do we have one for you, from a winery that claimed 28th place in the BEST 125 wines in the world in the Decanters 2022 World Wine Awards! That’s pedigree right there from a winery that puts just as much effort into their lower tier wines, offering outstanding value for money. Dimartina takes its name from Martina, Mauro Molino’s daughter. Crafted and created to celebrate her entry into the company in 2008, it has become one of their favourite wines. A dynamic and engaging blend, where four varieties perfectly support each other. The local vineyards of Barbera and Nebbiolo are always identifiable thanks to their softness, structure and juicy acidity. Merlot and Cabernet add generosity and roundness to the mid-palate. A delicious fusion of Northern Italy’s famous Piedmont terroir and the two key grapes of Bordeaux. Wonderful with cheese and mushroom inspired pasta, risotto and veal dishes… and a simple pizza. Save a glass for after dinner. This is pure, quality drinking pleasure at a fabulous price.

Smells

A complex bouquet… a sensory delight with layers of red and black fruit, spice and savoury charm.

Tastes

On the palate, you'll experience a symphony of flavours, including ripe blackberries, cherries, and hints of spice meandering to a savoury, juicy and lengthy finish. The velvety texture adds to the overall indulgence. Perfect drinking now through 2026 with soup, BBQed meats or a selection of cheese. The recommended serving temperature is 14-16 degrees.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
