Description
Vigor was created by blending a typical Italian variety with an international one. This blend, quite unique for the Marche region, with a very fruit-driven wine, thanks to the Sangiovese, but with an enfolding and soft palate, because of the Merlot. The vines are planted in different areas of Marche hills, rolling down from the Apennine Mountains to the Adriatic Sea.
Smells
a heady perfume of dark berry fruits, blackberries, mulberries, and plums with an array of baking spices and toasty oak notes finely woven throughout.
Tastes
a plush, dark, and concentrated wine with chewy tannins that will excite lovers of big, ripe wines. However, saying that this wine is not too ripe, rather there is a sinewy vein of red currants and where the fruit is supported by the robust, muscular tannins. This is the perfect partner for a Sirloin Steak and decant the bottle just prior to serving. But no rush to drink as it will age for 5-8 years in a temperature-controlled cellar. The recommended serving temperature is 16-17 degrees
