Always made in a very traditional European fashion that's in keeping with Rudi Bauer's Austrian origins, whilst capturing the essence and purity of fruit that is uniquely New Zealand, a winning combination; the Old World meets the New World. The Quartz Reef Pinot Noir is certified organic and biodynamic. An intensely aromatic and boldly structured wine, this 2020 vintage is another classic that will reward cellaring.
Smells
Dark cherry and exotic spice, with liquorice, plum and thyme.
Tastes
Juicy and full-bodied with a formidable tannic structure that bodes well for longevity, this will be great with duck or other game meats and quail.
