Description
Planted in 1969, Moss Wood is an iconic, founding estate of Margaret River, Western Australia. Renowned for Cabernet based wines and a serious competitor to Bordeaux for often a similar quality at a fraction of the price. Amy’s is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot, all from the Glenmore Vineyard.
Smells
An attractively fresh array of mulberry and red-plum aromas with a rose-like floral edge.
Tastes
The palate has a very supple, succulent core of fleshy, sleek tannins that carry bright raspberry and mulberry flavours, fresh and long. Great balance, vibrancy and poise highlighting the class of wines from this region. One sip and you will agree, it could easily be a Bordeaux in the glass. No rush to drink as will easily cellar 10 years+. Made for a piece of prime ribeye.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
