Description
Tempranillo is known as Tinto fino in Ribera del Duero, and this Torres Celeste Crianza is a classic example of the power and richness of the region. Grown at 900 metres above sea level, Crianza is aged for at least two years, with a minimum of one year in oak. The 2020 vintage offers a great drinking experience upon release and will up to 10 years from vintage.
Smells
Deep dark berries are balanced by a touch of French oak spice, giving way to dark chocolate, ocean salty air, seaweed, and spice.
Tastes
Medium-bodied with grainy tannins leading to a great long palate length. Dried herbs, dense dark berries and savoury notes create great complexity. To be enjoyed now through to 2028+ with cured meats, stews, or savoury pasta dishes.
