Description
We can appropriately call this the “5 e’s” Hidden Label Pinot Noir CLEARANCE. Elite winery… excellent vineyard… exceptional winemaker... expensive winemaking... extraordinary price! Crafted from an excellent single vineyard in Marlborough’s Southern Valley, this 2021 Hidden Label Pinot Noir over delivers at the normal price of $40.00! Our clearance price of $23.99 is extraordinary… a huge saving of $16.00 bottle. 95/100 FWD Panel, 5 Stars Cuisine plus #5 in their annual Pinot Noir review, Gold Medal at Aotearoa Wine Awards. Marlborough’s Southern Valleys is gaining international recognition as one of NZ’s finest Pinot producing regions. This is a very classy, full-bodied, and smooth Pinot Noir. Buy on trust…. When it arrives at your door it will be wearing its famous label.
Smells
Beautifully perfumed florals over cherry and blueberry fruits, with notes of sandalwood, cedar, and forest floor.
Tastes
Dark in colour, it’s full of flavours of black cherry, blue fruits, coffee, and baking spice with subtle black olive brine freshening the generous palate. The texture is silky smooth with toasted oak emerging on the lingering finish. If drinking now, pair with mushroom dishes, spiced or gamey meats. But this Pinot has genuine age ability and will become richer and smoother through 2026-2029.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
