This wine has lots of plush fruit, more in line with Pinots of NZ but the structure, chalky, and slatey texture of the Old World, and perfectly highlights the virtues of both. One sip will be a light bulb moment and Old-World Pinots will be on your radar. a heady bouquet of cranberries, raspberries, and strawberries with hints of rosehip, red liquorice and spice.

generous fruit initially tickles the senses which is instantly balanced by the chalky, chewy, slightly clingy tannins making for a delicious drinking style. The Old-World structure rules, the slatey texture with a fresh acid thread will compliment food well. Those same red fruit aromas are mirrored on the palate with complexing notes of crushed herbs. A full and complete palate with a dense core of fruit running the entire length. Perfect drinking now through 2025 with duck, pork, and lamb.
