You will find Mount Edward wines in the cellars of serious Pinot Noir collectors and on the menus at many of the world's best restaurants. Their aim… “to produce wines of provenance and pleasure alike”. Crafted from low yielding, organically certified vineyards planted circa 1997, production is extremely high in quality but never large (often under 2000 cases across 5 estate vineyards). 2014 was an excellent vintage reflected in the outstanding international ratings from Wine Advocate & James Suckling. Their Mount Edward Pinot Noir is principally a blend of two Estate vineyards in Lowburn and Bannockburn, supplemented by Pisa Terrace fruit. Crafted with 25% whole bunch ferment, the wine spends 11 months in around 20% new French Oak. At 9-years and carefully cellared this 2014 is in a perfect drinking window.

Notes of morello cherry, damson plum, vintage rose and wild thyme enchant the senses.

Elegantly structured with abundant personality. Layered with dark plum and wild raspberry threaded by savoury, spice complexities. Superb, sweet/savoury contrast, further amplified by refreshing mineral sensations pervading the finish. Simply superb with Duck or Lamb now and through 2024.
