Description
From one of our favourite Central Otago producers Mount Edward, Ted Pinot Noir is famous for offering a top-level organic drinking experience at a mid-level price. A bit more in the dark and serious-fruited spectrum in 2020, Ted has that classic mellow plushness that makes it such great drinking in its youth and with some titillating tannins that will allow 3-4 years bottle age.
Smells
A note of lamb chops marinated with rosemary, with summer red fruits and dried herbs.
Tastes
Upfront juicy red and dark fruits with a nice spicy and dried herb complexity, Mount Edward Ted is a charming and easy-drinking style of Pinot from one of the region's top producers. Drink young (and feel young while doing it...). Marinated lamb chops on the Barbie, open a bottle and whittle the night away. I feel younger already!!!
