Hermitage is considered the crème de la crème of the Northern Rhone, where Syrah is king and white grapes of Marsanne and Roussanne also grow. The soils are a combination of granite with alluvial quaternary delta deposits and Pliocene marl, protected from the north winds, the slopes are well exposed to the sun, facing south, all making perfect conditions for Syrah to work its magic. This Delas Hermitage, Les Bressards is a single vineyard wine and combine that with the 2019 vintage, one of the best of the century and you have a cult wine, worth every penny.

The nose shows great class, with soft aromas of blackberries, mulberries with violets, and black liquorice. The bouquet alone is simply irresistible.

The fruit concentration is striking, a wine that is particularly dense, rich and with a sublime tannic backbone. The tannins coat the insides of your cheeks, combined with the salivating, dusty, chalky texture and its superb balance, making for a spellbinding wine. The likes rarely seen. This is one for the cellar for 12-15years+.
