Description

A partnership between three winegrower gurus from the Rhône Valley – Nicolas Jaboulet, Guillaume Sorrel, and Alexandre Caso – Maison les Alexandrins produces northern wines in a style that’s contemporary and timeless, always from exceptional vineyards unearthed by Alexandre Caso, a specialist in the terroirs of the northern Rhône Valley. Classic wines with a twist, and yet wines that will age, whilst drinking well young. Grown on soil packed with Rhone pebbles, the Syrah expresses itself fully and with a touch of Viognier adds lift and perfume.

Smells

The bouquet is loaded with pure red and black fruits, spices, plus a touch of black pepper.

Tastes

A fresh and rich palate awaits, laden with blackberries, dark cherries and redcurrant interspersed with spice and black pepper. Soft tannins and bang on acidity ensure wonderful mouthfeel, leading into a long seductive finish. Enjoy now with red meats and charcuterie, or hard cheeses. Recommended serving temperature is 16 – 18 degrees.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
