Description
A modern style of Super Tuscan that gets everything, but the kitchen sink thrown at it in the winery, but not this one, instead they’re sticking with Syrah. The wine spends 24 months in barrel before a further 36 in bottle. We would say the aging has been done for you, but this has many more years left to run, so enjoy now or in ten years.
Smells
Lovely florals and ripe black fruits, earthy forest floor, liquorice and subtle coconut (from the premium oak) and an underlying meaty vein.
Tastes
Supple and slightly savoury, the black and red fruits mingle with spice and cedary oak, producing a long, fine finish. A very harmonious wine with many good years ahead of it enjoy through 2030 and beyond with red meats or pasta.
